The year of the New York PAUSE has seen a significant increase in activity around Lake Mohegan. You might have gone for a walk and noticed more neighbors out on the streets for an afternoon stroll, possibly with kids or feline companions along for company. Be sure and say hi! And so many folks are out on the water, swimming, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing… our lake is a beautiful place to get away from the stresses of 2020.

Our first water treatment of copper sulfate took place on June 18, applied by SOLitude, Inc., to combat blue-green algae in the water column. There will be additional treatments this season; watch this space and the MLID Facebook page for updates.
